The app contains an extensive array of wines and lists the relevant two-digit score for a range of vintages. There is a small picture of each wine label. For $6, I would like to see the full wine reviews showing tasting comments and anticipated maturity dates, as well as ways to make my own notes or create a cellar, not just view the score.
This APP is dedicated to California wines and the State of California exclusivly. Certainly not a case of dazzling brilliance in knowledge of wines in the United States of America, or for that matter, veracity in describing this expensive limited data database.
This app is great in theory but it is awful by design. All of the ratings go up to like 2006 at the newest... Thats cool if your buying older wines but it doesnt even have ratings for the newer wines that have come out! Blah waste of money!!!!!!
Lots of wines but latest rated vintages are old. Its 5 vintages behind. Im very disappointed. I would buy all the apps if this were updated but as is............. Dont buy it.
This app is a joke. As others have written, it is outdated and very bulky to search. You cant browse by ratings. You have to drill down several levels to get to a single vineyard. Plus, you can tell it was written by an Asian as it is chock full of spelling errors. For example, the title page itself says "Carlifornia". Its awful and the joke is on me for spending $5 on it. Hopefully I can save others the same regret.
